The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) launched a so-called "Wonderful Life" lifelong learning project in Beijing on December 13 to enrich women's lives.

Wu Haiying, vice-president and member of the secretariat of the ACWF, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

"The project is part of the efforts made by the ACWF to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; it provides an important platform to lead, serve, and connect with women, and improve women's working competence," said Wu.

"We will publicize the spirits of President Xi's important speeches and the 12th National Women's Congress and introduce more courses in future," she added.

The project lasted for two days, during which experts used the internet to give lectures on traditional Chinese arts and product designs to women.

A total of more than 237,000 women in 17 cities registered for the courses, according to a spokesperson.
