Xie Ru, a member of the 11th and 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was elected as vice president of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) at the 11th National Women's Congress. She is also deputy governor of east China's Jiangxi Province, director of the Jiangxi Working Committee on Children and Women.

Xie, Han nationality, was born in Fenghua, east China's Zhejiang Province, in July 1968. She began working in July 1990. As an independent, she holds doctor's degree in economics and is a researcher.
