Village Cadre Starts Goat-Raising Cooperative to Help Impoverished Households Get Rid of Poverty

Nie Yingju is not only a farmer who has rich experience in goat-raising, but also a village cadre at Changlingjie Village of Weimo Township in Yanshan County. With the help of local government and enterprises, Nie started a goat-raising cooperative in February 2015 to help registered impoverished households get rid of poverty. More than 100 households joined the cooperative, and by now all of these households have lifted themselves out of poverty. [Xinhua/Yang Zongyou]
