Zhou Chaoqun and her husband Cui Aiguo have been holding fast to their posts at a medical center in a village of Feidong County, East China's Anhui Province, since the novel coronavirus epidemic outbreak took place.

The medical center became a temporary home to the couple and their two children during the Spring Festival holiday.

They publicize information about personal protection amid the virus outbreak and monitor the temperature of villagers who are quarantined at home and of people at the village entrance, trying their best to contain the spread of the disease.

"I'm a doctor. It's my duty to join the fight against the epidemic," Cui said.
