A concert with an emphasis on pregnancy training for mothers-to-be was co-sponsored by the Jiangjin Women's Federation and the Jiangjin Maternity and Infant Hospital in the Jiangjin District of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on March 29, 2015 to further deepen local pregnant women and their husbands' understanding of the importance of music to the healthy growth of their future babies.

"It's significant for expectant mothers to maintain their own happiness and to play music regularly for their future babies; both of these are conducive to the healthy growth of their children," explained Wang Duoqin, a medical expert from the Jiangjin Maternity and Infant Hospital, at the concert.

Meanwhile, the concerts' organizers lectured attendees about how to undertake effective prenatal training and cultivate close ties with their soon-to-be born babies.

For her part, Jiangjin Women's Federation President Zhao Lingyun said that the event also aimed to help more women choose normal delivery over C-sections.
