CWU Takes Strict Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures to Fight Against COVID-19

 February 10, 2020

The China Women's University (CWU) has taken many strict epidemic prevention and control measures to fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The CWU has set up a team for deploying the epidemic prevention and control work. The Students' Affairs Department and International Education College contacted all students to learn about their situations and reported updated information to relevant departments.

The university's leaders, teachers and student cadres have closely followed the situations of students on campus, in quarantine or in epidemic-stricken areas. The CWU also launched a 24-hour hotline to provide psychological assistance to teachers and students.

In addition, the university quickly publicized the epidemic prevention measures through its official WeChat account in order to strengthen the students' awareness of protecting themselves.

The student dormitory center has strictly carried out preventive measures and provided face masks and disinfectant to students on campus. In addition, the center set up a WeChat group to ensure that all the students were totally informed about the university's prevention requirements.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, and leaders from relevant departments inspected the student dormitory center many times to learn the situations of its occupants.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, all teachers of the International Education College have been on standby and paid close attention to the physical conditions of foreign students. They publicized the epidemic prevention information to the foreign students every day.

All the CWU staff stuck to their posts to fight against the epidemic and shouldered the responsibility of safeguarding the health of students and teachers.
