Delegation of Xi'an Peihua Univ Visits CWU

A delegation of Xi'an Peihua University visited China Women's University (CWU) recently, where they attended a seminar.

CWU Vice-President Liu Meng warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the current status of women's education at CWU. Directors from the university's functional departments laid out their achievements in talent cultivation, entrepreneurship and career planning for female students and female cadres training.

The two sides exchanged opinions on talent cultivation programs, how to balance scientific research and academic education, how to introduce the idea of innovation into discipline construction, and how to realize resource sharing among different higher institutions. They also discussed the organization of the 4th National Symposium on Employment and Entrepreneurship of Female University Students.

Ban Li, vice-president of Women's College at Xi'an Peihua University, sincerely thanked CWU for its unswerving support and hoped to cooperate with the members of China Women's Universities Consortium (CWUC).

She also hoped that the CWUC could integrate the universities' resources, establish an accessible information channel, launch more exchange projects and promote female university students' development.

Ban Li and Fang Ning, associate director of the Women's College at Xi'an Peihua University, visited CWU's history exhibition room and Women and Gender Library after the meeting.

Attendees also included officials from CWU's Administrative Office and directors of CWU's Teaching Affairs Office, Recruitment and Employment Office and Continuing Education School.
