Recently, the 6th Beijing College Students Drama Festival concluded. Three programs from CWU won awards. They took a gold, a silver and a bronze medal, which has won great honor for CWU.

The drama festival, which kicked off at the Central Academy of Drama on October 27, brought together competitors from 48 universities. CWU’s art troupe participated in the two categories of short plays and recitation. Reciting "A Random Talk on Ideas" won them first place in the professional group, reciting "Red Sorghum" led them to second place in the professional group and the short play "Pawn" won them bronze in the common group.

Since receiving the performance notice in May, CWU's Communist Youth League Committee and the School of Cultural Communication have made intense preparations for the event under the strong support of CWU leaders. Participating students and their instructors showed strong enthusiasm in training and tried their best to realize their artistic dreams in the competition. They have given a perfect performance.

Participating in the drama festival not only creates a healthy and elegant campus culture and artistic atmosphere, but also enriches campus cultural life, showing the art level of our students. The CWU college art troupe will continue to provide more platforms and opportunities for students who love art, and will strive to win more honors for the school.
