Memorial Hall Holds Interviews to Recruit Interns from CWU

 

Wang Hongyun, deputy director of the Administration for Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (CMMH), visited China Women's University (CWU) on November 24 and interviewed some students from the School of Culture and Communication to select part-time announcers. CWU President Liu Liqun received the delegates and led a conversation with them.

Liu sincerely thanked the CMMH for providing opportunities of internships for CWU students. CWU has a history of red revolution and is committed to cultivating successors for the socialist cause. Liu hoped CWU students could cherish the internship opportunity, make the most of their professional skills and improve their political awareness.

Wang said that the CMMH attached great importance to students' ideological and political consciousness. CWU students have a natural advantage with its special history. At present, the exploration and reconstruction of the CMMH is underway. Wang expressed his hope to strengthen cooperation with CWU in the future.

Directors from CWU's School of Culture and Communication introduced to its students' educational and practical experiences. Ge Lan, former announcer in China and distinguished professor of CWU, was invited to the meeting and worked as a judge.

More than a dozen students were selected to participate in the interview after rounds of preliminary tests. The interview included a self-introduction, designated manuscript presentation and talent show. The students made careful preparations, fully demonstrated their professional skills and highlighted their special talents. Leaders of CMMH fully affirmed the professional qualities of CWU students.

Teachers and students of the School of Communication and Communication have a better understanding of the publicity work of the CMMH through this interview. The school has reached a tentative cooperation consensus with the CMMH and will jointly explore a multi-channel cooperation model to achieve win-win results.
