Xia Jie, Vice President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), had an inspection tour of China Women's University (CWU) in Beijing on March 30.

During her visit to a mock court of the law school and two laboratories of the culture & communication and social work schools at the CWU, Xia highly praised their efforts and practices with an emphasis upon targeted instruction and the construction of relevant teaching facilities.

She called on local staff members to give full play to their laboratories to cultivate students' practical skills and vocational competence so as to meet social demands.

After listening to the introduction of an inspirational idea of “micro express delivery” initiated by the students at the internship base for employment and business startups, Xia encouraged them to share their entrepreneurial practices and experiences with other schoolmates.

In addition, she also toured the CWU's school history hall and library.

Senior officials from the CWU, including Li Mingshun, Liu Liqun and Liu Meng, accompanied Xia during her visit.
