The Development Center for Mental Health affiliated to the Student Affairs Office at China Women's University held a ceremony on its campus on April 16 to inaugurate the month-long celebrations for upcoming National Mental Health Day for College Students (May 25).

This year's celebrations were held on the theme of "New Era, Personal Dream, and Mental Health". The initiative aims to innovate and deepen educational methods for improving college students' psychological health, inspire them to balance self-development and social demands, help them grow with a positive character, and guarantee their healthy growth.

During the opening ceremony, the center's faculty staff held interactions with students, responded to their questions, and gave them a test of their mental health.

In addition, organizers also distributed pamphlets in relation to psychology and counseling amongst participants.

According to organizers, a number of themed activities will be staged in the next month to disseminate knowledge about mental health and encourage the public to give more attention to the topic.
