The provincial women's federation of East China's Anhui Province organized a special project to protect women and children's rights from January to March this year.
The Chinese Women's Legal Action was run with the support of four local municipal women's federations.
As part of the scheme, 30 legal cases received help in the past three months including one legal aid case for elderly seniors, three for juveniles, four for migrant workers and 22 for women's family rights protection.
A total of 526,000 yuan was redeemed on behalf of those represented.
In recent years, Anhui Women's Federation has made women's legal aid work a high priority, and it has enlisted the cooperation of local lawyers.
Those topics of particular concern include women's marital rights, labor disputes, rural women's property rights and protection of minors.
