The plan encourages the establishment of Chinese classics learning organizations and clubs to create a positive social vibe surrounding the reading of Chinese classics.
Ancient Chinese classics are deemed important parts of Chinese culture. In the guidelines on preserving and developing excellent traditional culture released by China's central government in 2017, the learning of Chinese classics was listed as a major task.
