20th Beijing-Taiwan Science & Technology Forum Held in Beijing

The 20th Female Forum of Beijing-Taiwan Science & Technology Forum was held in Beijing, on Sept 9 to discuss female entrepreneurship and innovation.

More than 150 entrepreneurs and representatives of women's associations, including 30 from Taiwan, attended the forum. Ten entrepreneurs from both regions spoke about hot topics including science and technology, company development, talent cultivation and traditional cultures.

Mu Hong, head of the liaison department of the All-China Women's Federation, said that the forum focuses on the new demands of females in both Beijing and Taiwan, and further deepens the relationship between the two regions.

Huang Xihui, head of the Taiwan women's delegation, said that women are playing a more important role in modern society. The forum can provide a platform for women in Beijing and Taiwan to learn with each other and promote development.

The Beijing Women's Association also organized for the Taiwan entrepreneurs to visit the Zhongguancun Science Park and the Beijing Taiwan Guild Hall.
