Ten out of 60 Chinese young football players will be selected to represent the country at the FC Bayern Youth Cup finals after a trial in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province, on Saturday.
Antonio Vatany, youth coach of the FC Bayern, who watched all the games on Saturday, will give suggestions on the selection, said event officials.
The 10 players will have the opportunity to meet with the Bayern Munich stars and watch the last game of the German Bundesliga and its award ceremony after the finals.
The FC Bayern Youth Cup finals will be held in Munich from May 17 to 21.
The sixty players, ages from 14 to 16, come from eight provinces, cities and autonomous regions across China.
The trial was held in the Sino-German Ecopark, which is cooperating with the FC Bayern to build a football school in Qingdao.
