Nanjing No. 1 Middle School boys and Nanjing No. 3 High School girls both won the titles in the ISF U-15 World Schools Volleyball Championship, which concluded on April 5 in Porec, Croatia.

The first ever U-15 tournament organized by the International School Sport Federation opened on March 31, involving about 300 athletes representing 23 teams from 15 countries and regions.

As the tournament's top seed, the girls team from China was drawn into Group D and won all three group matches to reach the second phase. The boys team, despite losing its first match, made some quick adjustments and beat teams from Hungary and Bulgaria to qualify second in the group.

In the second and third phases, the Chinese girls defeated Sg Canisius of Netherlands and IES N1 DE CHESTE of Spain, and the Chinese boys secured an easy victory over Spanish boys to both advance to the finals.

In the finals, China's girls and boys beat teams from Chinese Taipei respectively to claim the top places.
