Artist Completes Embroidery Work Along the River During the Qingming Festival

Recently, Xing Lanfang, an embroidery artist from Shijiazhuang, capital of North China's Hebei Province, completed her creation Along the River During the Qingming Festival.

Xing once worked in a textile company and then went to Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, to study embroidery after she was laid off in 2000. Xing combines the embroidery skills of northern and southern styles to create a variety of embroidery works. Recently, she has completed her creation Along the River During the Qingming Festival, also known by its Chinese name Qingming Shanghe Tu,, which is eight meters long and has been four years in creation.
