China Entrepreneur magazine recently co-hosted the Global Mulan Forum, also known as the 10th China Business Mulan Annual Meeting, with the Mulan Foundation in Beijing, to present awards to top female business executives.
Hu Chao, founder of the brand Leyou Babies to Kids, which pioneered an e-commerce platform for the maternal and infant industry, was selected to appear on the Top 20 Chinese Business Women List.
This year, in addition to influence, leadership ability, and innovative ability, "sharing ability" was added to the evaluation criteria of entrepreneurs on improving cultural diversity and employees' welfare.
Hu has been engaged in the maternal and infant field for nearly 20 years, and always taken safety and responsibility as a priority, and made an example for the whole industry with quality products and an innovative spirit.
At the event, Hu delivered a speech on "How to Activate the Younger Generation" and analyzed their consumption pain points and characteristics from the new era from such different aspects including the macro economy, growth environment and culture.
She also shared her experience through multiple factors such as developing the potential market, new-media communication methods and purchase channels.
On the theme of "Dance to the Future", those present included Kevin Ashton, creater of "the-Internet-of-Things" and author of the book How to Fly a Horse: The Secret History of Creation, Invention, and Discovery; Animashree Anandkumar, Chief Scientist of Amazon Web Services; He Qiaonü, Chairwoman of Orient Landscape; and, Du Juan from the Gome Holdings Group.
At the gathering, entrepreneurs, government leaders and scholars all discussed the growth and emergence of women's power.
The Mulan Forum has always adhered to the idea of "Women Contributing to the Better Business", while promoting female entrepreneurs' spirit in the meantime.
Furthermore, the Forum covered many hot topics related to Chinese female entrepreneurs. It also put forward concepts such as "She Power" and the "She Economy".
