Cecilia Han Xue, 34, an actress from the city of Suzhou in east China's Jiangsu Province, has metaphorically viewed her career as a well which requires sound maintenance from the start.
Han became known by the public when she snatched a gold medal at a talent show in 2000. Her debut on the screen took place the next year when she starred in TV series Para Para Sakura which tells the romantic stories between two young people.
Since then, Han has acted as singer and film producer among other posts, which she says have contributed much to her maturity and career development. Nevertheless, she is clear of what she has been pursuing in her performance and thus has had a specific plan for her acting.
Therefore, Han will not blindly go after her performance in the so-called blockbuster whilst devoting herself wholeheartedly to the production of her favorite films and TV series.
When asked about her play in the ongoing popular TV series Lost Love in Times, in which she acted as a senior with imposing power in her clan, Han said the main reason for her to join was that its film producers had been known for their sound cooperation and solid professional knowledge in the field.
As to the further development of her career, Han revealed that she would never allow herself to be distracted by irrelevant matters and exhaust her energy in a short period of time. On the contrary, she emphasizes the long-term career achievement and development of her strong points.
