Writer Dedicates Her Youth to Writing
The cover of Fang Fang's new book [Women Voice]

Chinese writer Fang Fang recently reprinted her former collection of novels , along with several of her newly published creations, in the hope of encouraging people to read more.

Fang stated that she preferred to write novels, which impressed readers the most. She once recalled that editors usually selected her novels over her short stories to reprint in the past, which was regrettable to her.

As she has collected all her favorite short stories into the latest collection and read them again, she believes that these novels can stand the test of time.

Now, writing is an indispensable part of Fang's daily life. She said she couldn't spend a day without writing, sometimes she wrote essays, which made her feel comfortable. With the help of new media platforms such as blogs, Weibo, and WeChat, she found it's easier to communicate with people.

Fang said that the beginning of writing was reading, which endowed her with the ability to write. She has written for nearly forty years, from a young girl to an old woman with gray hair.
