The book, Sharing the Story of China, has been published by the Commercial Press to show readers how to introduce China to the world.
The book, compiled by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), combines case studies with expert's comments to summarize the experience and methods of introducing China to the world.
It also proposes new ideas to improve public diplomacy in the new era.
A good story is "Esperanto," which transcends regional, linguistic, racial and cultural barriers to help more foreigners better understand China, said Li Xiaolin, president of the CPAFFC.
The CPAFFC started the research program on "telling the world the Chinese story" last January, and selected 33 representative cases that best exemplify the story-telling skills.
