China-ROK Women's Exchanges

In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea, the China-ROK Women's Exchanges was held from May 14-18 in Beijing, China. The activity aim to improve understanding, friendship and cooperation among women and women's organizations from China and the ROK.

High-level officials from China and the ROK attended the opening ceremony of the China-ROK Women Exchanges. The attendants include Gu Xiulian, vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and president of the All-China Women's Federation, Jang Ha-jin, ROK minister of Gender Equality and Family and head of the ROK women's delegation, Kim Ha Joong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to China, Wang Yunze, vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and vice-president of the China-Republic of Korea Friendship Association,  delegates from the ROK women's delegation and other Chinese delegates from all walks of life.
