To coincide with International Women's Day, on March 8, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) annually recognizes 10 women who have made extraordinary achievements in their work, as National March 8th Red-banner Pacesetters — prestigious titles of high praise for outstanding Chinese women. The award has been organized by the All-China Women's Federation since 1960, aiming to motivate women to actively participate in social and economic development.
