Women representatives from all walks of life expressed their support for the unanimous election of Chinese president Xi Jinping at the first session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) on March 17.
At the meeting, Xi was elected Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China.
Chinese women from different walks of life think it is the common aspiration for the whole country, Party, and ethnic groups.
It will encourage all people, including women around China, to strive for the comparatively prosperous society, the Chinese Dream, and the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, under the leadership of Xi.
Those present applauded for a long time when Xi was elected Chinese president unanimously.
Lu Yaping, a NPC deputy, said: "China has undergone profound changes and our lives improved a lot."
"All these could be attributed to the Party Central Committee's leadership with Xi at the core," Lu added.
The women's federation of Kashgar in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region organized locals to watch a live broadcast of the election.
The president of the federation, Ma Yinuer said: "There have been great changes in Kashgar over the past years. For instance, the tuition fee was totally canceled from kindergartens to high schools; all residents can enjoy free medical checks; the new rural construction is developing vigorously; and more women have begun to start their own businesses."
"The ethnic groups in Kashgar will work hard for the lasting social stability in Xinjiang and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, under Xi's leadership," Ma added.
Wang Zhongling, who has been working in the clothing industry for 20 years, said Xi Jinping is the leader for the whole country and all the people, and that she trusts his decision.
"I have a dream in my own profession, which can only be achieved under the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," Wang added.
Beijing Municipal March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter award winner Lin Dan, who is also the founder of the Yourbay Library, said: "Without the correct leadership, the nation's rejuvenation could not be achieved. We will dedicate ourselves to nourishing Chinese children with the best cultural products."
He Ling, an associate professor of the Women Cadres' School in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said: "President Xi's solemn oath made me excited."
"From his oath, we could feel his determination to dedicate himself to the country and the people, which also inspired our young generations to work harder together," she added.
Zhang Qian, deputy director of Reporting Department of Gansu Daily, pointed to reports from grassroots areas and said everyone was happy to hear this news.
"As a female reporter for the Party, I will work as a trustworthy news-writer for the people with actions," Zhang said.
"As a woman engaged in the literary and art field, I can see more outstanding literary works on television and the internet under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era," Song Xiangqi said.
Song is from the Contemporary Poetry Research Center in Central South University. She added that traditional cultures like poems and traditional operas have also started to recover and step into a new prosperity.
He Zhonglan, president of the women's federation of Tianshui, a city in northwest China's Gansu province, stressed that as an official, she would undertake the responsibilities to unite women to make contributions in the new era under the Party's leadership.
