7th China-US Women's Leadership Exchange and Dialogue Opens

The seventh China-U.S. Women's Leadership Exchange and Dialogue was held in Washington D.C., the United States, on June 23.

The day-long event focused on women's economic empowerment in the United States, China and countries around the world.

Meng Xiaosi, vice-president and member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech.

Jointly held by the ACWF and U.S. Department of State, the event focused on women's entrepreneurship, family-friendly workplace policies, women's access to capital and finance, and capacity building. Speakers included Chinese and U.S. government officials; entrepreneurs and business leaders; journalists; representatives from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, Johnson & Johnson, and the Tory Burch Foundation; and members of civil society.
