Xia Jie Meets Women's Delegation from San Francisco Bay Area

Xia Jie, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, met a six-member delegation, composed of women representatives from the United States San Francisco Bay Area Council for the Promotion of China's National Reunification, in Beijing on September 18, 2019. Xia Jie, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met a six-member delegation, composed of women representatives from the United States San Francisco Bay Area Council for the Promotion of China's National Reunification, in Beijing on September 18, 2019. The delegation visited China at the invitation of ACWF.

Xia outlined the development of Chinese women and children's undertakings. She also talked about ACWF's major projects. She praised the Bay Area council's overseas Chinese members, who love their motherland and who have promoted China's peaceful national reunification.

Xia and the delegates discussed ways to unite the strength of overseas Chinese, so they can fulfill the Chinese Dream. They also exchanged views on advancing cooperation so they can help promote women and children's development in China.

Huang Shu, Deputy Director-General of ACWF's Liaison Department, attended the meetings.
