They are outstanding women, from all walks of life. Their inspirational stories have been recorded through the lenses of women photographers. To convey the power of these Chinese women role models, the China Association of Women Photographers recently released a series of photographs, entitled "The Power of Women in China's New Era." The photos focus on delegates to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and on women named a National Outstanding Party Member, National March 8th Red-Banner Holder, and/or National Model Worker. Also included are women recipients of various other honorary titles. By recording the women working hard, and often bravely, the photos reflect Chinese women's wisdom and strength on the new journey of the new era.
