An exhibition of art works created by children, from home and abroad, recently opened at the China National Museum of Women and Children, in Beijing, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
With the theme Arts Nurturing Children's Hearts and Aesthetic Education Fostering New Generation, the exhibition is being held by China National Museum of Women and Children and China Cultural Relics Newspaper, under the guidance of the Department of Family and Children's Affairs of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the Chinese Museums Association. The exhibition is scheduled to run until the end of August.
More than 800 pieces of art, selected from more than 10,000 submissions, are being displayed. The works encompass a range of artistic forms, such as painting, calligraphy, paper-cut, installation and crafts. The works convey the beauty of the motherland, the creators' hometowns, and people's lives in the new era — all in the eyes of the children. Women of China highlights some of the works, to share the beautiful creations with our readers.
