BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) — An exhibition of over 160 sports-themed artworks kicked off in the National Art Museum of China on Friday to celebrate the upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing.
The exhibition shows the sprit of the Olympics and tells the stories of Chinese sports to the world, said Wu Weishan, the museum's curator.
Portraits of several Chinese Olympic champions are also on display in the museum, along with the exhibition which will last until Jan. 16.
