Four cultural plays "Ancient Sound of Dunhuang" "Encore Dunhuang" "Dunhuang Splendid Ceremony" and "Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed" reflecting the history and culture of the famed Dunhuang City along the ancient Silk Road are staged in the city. The performances integrate Dunhuang's history, clothing culture, music culture as well as dance culture. As of August 10, the four plays have been performed 1,175 times this year, attracting more than 660,000 person-time tourists both at home and abroad. [Xinhua/Fan Peishen]
