With the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring as the background, the real-scene show "Dunhuang Splendid Ceremony" tells a love story occurred in ancient Dunhuang. Four cultural plays "Ancient Sound of Dunhuang" "Encore Dunhuang" "Dunhuang Splendid Ceremony" and "Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed" reflecting the history and culture of the famed Dunhuang City along the ancient Silk Road are staged in the city. The performances integrate Dunhuang's history, clothing culture, music culture as well as dance culture.
