BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) — The ancient Tea Horse Road passes through Sichuan-Xizang, Yunnan-Xizang, and Qinghai-Xizang on three separate routes. With the development of society, the once lively ancient road has gradually declined. Today, local governments and institutions in Yunnan have joined hands to explore the cultural value of the ancient Tea Horse Road and protect ancient tea forests' resources. Old towns and villages along the ancient road are once again revitalized.
