An exhibition showing the achievements of the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) was launched at the China National Museum of Women and Children on October 11.

Peng Peiyun, Gu Xiulian and Chen Zhili, former vice-chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and presidents of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), attended the opening ceremony. They recalled the 40-year development of the CCTF and talked about the bright prospects for the continuous development of children's charitable cause in the new era.

Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the ACWF, announced the opening of the exhibition.
Shen pointed out that the 40-year development and achievements of the CCTF manifest the great importance been attached to the development of children's causes by the Party, the priority given to children, the loving care for girls' healthy growth, and the deep love from all walks of life. She urged the CCTF to stick to its fundamental purpose and carry out its mission and tasks well, ensuring every donation is well used and achieves concrete results.

Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, delivered a speech at the ceremony. Huang called for uniting more people to join in children's cause and making more contributions to helping children live a happy life and fostering a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
Since its establishment 40 years ago, the CCTF has initiated a number of projects with wide influence, such as the Spring Bud project, which has helped put millions of girls from poor backgrounds into classrooms to combat gender bias. The fund has raised more than six billion yuan in donations and benefited nearly 51 million children and teenagers.
