More than a century ago, Qiaopi, a unique form of mail, served as a bond between overseas Chinese and their family members back in China.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has emphasized that Qiaopi "recorded the strenuous efforts of the old generation of overseas Chinese and their profound love for the hometown and the motherland, and embodied the credibility and integrity of the Chinese nation."
