Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese president, paid a state visit to Vietnam on Tuesday and Wednesday. During Xi's visit, China and Vietnam agreed to build a community with a shared future that carries strategic significance, charting a promising path of their closer cooperation and friendship going forward.
