Shaanxi (in Northwest China) Provincial People's Procuratorate and Shaanxi Women's Federation recently promulgated a document, in which the organizations' cadres offered suggestions on how to promote the establishment of the work mechanism, through which various organizations (including public security agencies, law enforcement agencies, civil affairs bureaus and women's federations, at all levels in the province) work together under that system to protect women and children's rights and interests.

The document stipulates the procuratorates and women's federations, at all levels in Shaanxi, should promote implementation of the mechanism for reporting cases involving infringements of minors' rights and interests to public security agencies.

The document also stresses the procuratorates and federations should improve their cooperation, so they can better help disadvantaged children (including orphaned and/or disabled children, minors from poverty -stricken families and left-behind children, whose parents have left home to work elsewhere) both protect their legal rights and interests and solve difficulties in their lives.
