To promote social harmony and stability, Hebei (in North China) Provincial People's Procuratorate, Hebei's Education Department, Hebei Women's Federation and other organizations promulgated a document, in which the organizations' officials explained how relevant organizations should strengthen the legal protection of minors.

The document defines the responsibilities of enterprises, institutions and people's organizations and the organizations' workers in protecting minors' legal rights and interests.

The document also stresses greater efforts should be made to help residents raise their awareness about the importance of combating illegal acts involving the infringement of minors' rights and interests.
