Fujian Women's Federation Increases Efforts to Protect Women's Rights, Interests

 November 27, 2020

Fujian (in Southeast China) Women's Federation from September 7-11 provided online training to help cadres (of women's federations, at all levels in Fujian), dedicated to protecting women's legal rights and interests, improve their ability to help women protect their rights and interests.

Organizers invited legal experts to explain the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, Regulations on Fujian Women Workers' Labor Protection, the Regulations on the Promotion of Fujian's Family Education and other laws and regulations. The experts also gave lectures, to help the trainees improve their ability to help residents resolve family disputes.

Representatives of the women's federations, at different levels in Fujian, shared their experiences in handling cases involving infringement of women's rights and interests, and in handling women's visits and letters that involve the protection of women's rights and interests.

Given the advantages of online training — such as added flexibility and better time management (than offline courses) for self-study — the training was well received by many participants.
