To strengthen efforts to safeguard girls' rights and interests, a one-stop-assistance center for girls was established, by Qinghai Women's Federation and Qinghai Provincial Public Security Department, in Northwest China's Qinghai Province, on February 1. It is the first provincial assistance center in Qinghai to provide one-stop, comprehensive services for girls whose rights and interests have been infringed.
The center has since begun to offer one-stop-assistance services specifically regarding criminal cases against minors.
It has established a working mechanism that includes offering psychological counseling, providing physical examinations and treatment, and issuing subsistence allowance.
The center has established three one-stop, case-handling sites in the Public Security Substation of Chengbei District, in Xining, capital of Qinghai Province.
