To raise people's awareness of the Civil Code, Taian (in East China's Shandong Province) Women's Federation recently organized a legal-publicity activity in Guangshengquan Community.

Lawyers from Shandong Lantian Law Firm explained, with case analyses, the marriage and family sections of the Civil Code. The organizer distributed booklets about the law on protecting women's rights and interests, and about the anti-domestic violence law, and residents consulted the lawyers about various legal issues.
