Nanning Women's Federation, Nanning Municipal People's Procuratorate, Nanning Public Security Bureau and Nanning Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs recently held a ceremony to announce the establishment of a center to provide legal aid and psychological counseling to children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and/or other crimes. The center is the first of its kind in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The event was held in Nanning, capital of the region.

The center provides "one-stop" services, so the children can receive legal aid within a short time. Also, judges, procurators and doctors can obtain evidence of the crimes more easily. That prevents the children from suffering further harm while being asked repeatedly about the cases.
