[For Women of China]

Women's federations, at all levels, in South China's Hainan Province organized activities in March to promote laws among women . On its official WeChat account, Hainan Women's Federation posted stories of individuals and collectives who distinguished themselves, in different regions of the country, in the protection of women and children's rights and interests. The federation also posted articles about the Civil Code, the anti-domestic-violence law, and laws on the protection of women's and minors' rights and interests. It also posted articles, to raise awareness about narcotics control, on its WeChat account.

The federation invited lawyers to give lectures about family dispute prevention and mediation to grassroots cadres. Leaders of Hainan Women's Federation and officials with Anding (a county in Hainan) People's Procuratorate met to share their experiences in protecting women and children's rights and interests. The procuratorate was recognized as a national advanced collective in the protection of women and children's rights and interests.

In Wanning, Wenchang, Dongfang and Wuzhishan cities, in Hainan, cadres from the women's federations distributed booklets (about laws) among women, and lawyers provided legal-consultation services to women during activities held in public places, such as parks and shopping centers.
