XIAMEN, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) — "Xi Jinping changed my life, twice!"

From a humble teacher to a fixture in the Fujian community, American professor William Brown overcame cancer and later became a celebrated author in his adopted homeland, both with personal encouragement from Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In a sit-down with China Chat host Miao Xiaojuan, the respected scholar opened up about his China story.
