Epidemic prevention and control volunteers who are on duty at the residential communities in Suifenhe City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, often receive heart-warming cups of milk tea from a woman who comes and goes in haste. They kindly nicknamed her "Sister Milk Tea."

The loving woman is Fan Xiaojie, a local volunteer, who helps carry backup materials during the daytime with other volunteers, and makes instant milk tea for people fighting on the front line of the battle against the epidemic at night. Every cup of milk tea is purchased by her and is delivered to gate-guards who hold fast to their positions at communities late into the night for free.

"I am happy to contribute my energy to my hometown," Fan said.
