President Xi Jinping first mentioned the Chinese Dream as ‘great renewal of Chinese nation’ after he was elected General Secretary of the Communist Party of China in 2012 and further explained the dream ‘after all, is the dream of the people.’

All-China Women’s Federation President Shen Yueyue called on Chinese women of all ethnic groups and social sectors to make new contributions and strive for the Chinese Dream in her closing speech at the 11th National Women’s Congress of China in November 2013.
