China-ASEAN Gender-based Training Session Opens in Beijing
The China-ASEAN Gender Mainstreaming and Social Management Capacity Building Training Session opened in Beijing on July 7.
Organized by the All-China Women's Federation, the training session drew the attendance of 12 officials from women organizations in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Vietnam.
The trainees are scheduled to visit and inspect women's projects and women's federations in Beijing and south China's Guangdong Province.
Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF Meng Xiaosi, Counselor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Zheng Xuefang and Vice-President of Myanmar Women's Affairs Federation Daw Khin May Soe, attended the opening ceremony of the session and delivered speeches.
