ACWF President Meets Sri Lankan Delegation

A delegation led by Shiranthi Rajapasksa, wife of the sixth president of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapasksa, visited Beijing and Tianjin from July 6-10, 2014.

Shen Yueyue, vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and president of All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met with the group and held a banquet in their presence.

During the meeting, they made an in-depth discussion on strengthening bilateral relations and promoting women's development in the two countries.

Under the invitation of ACWF, Rajapasksa and the delegation visited some areas in Beijing and later Tianjin.
