As an event commemorating the China-Russia Years of Sports Exchange (officially launched in February 2022), a sports exchange involving Chinese and Russian youth was held in the China National Children's Center (CNCC), in Beijing on November 10, 2023. The event's theme was "continue a promise of friendship and chase a dream of future."

Little "athletes" from both countries participated in a basketball game and a relay race of fun.

The event highlighted sports exchanges' role as a "tie" to show the vigor of children and teenagers and help deepen their mutual understanding and friendship, enriching the humanity connotation of the China-Russia Years of Sports Exchanges.

The event was cohosted by the CNCC and the school affiliated with the Russian Embassy in China. It received guidance from the All-China Women's Federation and the Russian Embassy, and attracted nearly 100 participants including children, teenagers, representatives from organizers and relevant units and from the media.
