Huang Leads CPC Delegation to Nicaragua

Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), led a Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation during a visit to Nicaragua between October 16-18.

Huang met Gustavo Porras, President of Nicaragua's National Assembly, Laureano Ortega Murillo, presidential adviser of Nicaragua, Lucien Nahima Guevara Agüero, Nicaragua's Minister of Women's Affairs, and more than 20 women ministers and leaders. They exchanged views on interparty relations, and on issues related to women and families.

Huang spoke during a meeting in the Nicaraguan National Convention and Exhibition Center. She explained the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to more than 180 senior officials of the Sandinista National Liberation Front and leaders of various people's organizations.

The Nicaraguan representatives spoke highly of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, noting it was of great significance. They expressed their willingness to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with China, and to promote fresh achievements for the China-Nicaragua strategic partnership.
