Shen Yueyue, President of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), and Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, extended greetings and best wishes to faculty members ahead of Teachers' Day during a visit to the China Women's University (CWU) and the China National Children's Center (CNCC) on September 9.

Noting that General Secretary Xi Jinping has shown kind care to and placed great hopes on teachers and educators, Shen urged the staff at the CWU and the CNNC to study and implement the spirit of Xi's important instructions, adhere to the original aspiration and mission of fostering virtue through education and cultivating talent for the Party and the State, and make more contributions to nurturing socialist builders and successors.

Shen hoped that teachers study and implement the spirit of Xi's important speech delivered at the meeting convened to commend role models in the country's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic on September 8, promote the spirit in combating the COVID-19 epidemic, devote themselves to shaping students' virtues and behaviors, and demonstrate the sense of responsibility of teachers in the new era.

During the visit, teachers from the School of Cultural Communication and the School of Social Work under the CWU introduced how teachers and students provided voluntary services to needy people and families amid the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. Shen spoke highly of their dedication and actions.
