To advance the law-based governance of China, and to better protect women's legal rights and interests, the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), on November 25, 2022, released the list of China's Top 10 Women's Rights Protection Cases.
The cases were selected from among dozens of cases collected by people's procuratorates, at all levels across China, during the past year. The selection of the cases highlighted the achievements of the procuratorates and the federations in working together to protect women's rights and interests. Some of the cases involved infringements of women's personal rights, and of their rights and interests relating to work or property.
